This post is a simple photo essay of a short autumn trip in the Pyrenees. I found the pictures recently and thought it a shame that none of them were represented on the site, so here they are. It was in early autumn when the passes were still clear of snow but the colours were simply spectacular. The air was cool at night over 1500m, but still comfortable enough in the hammock and a warm sleeping bag.
